News for week ending Sunday December 10
The Singles Leagues at Boston Tennis Club, sponsored by
Bombay Brasserie, are now into the third month of play.
In the Junior League Carl Robinson has moved in to the overall lead with Lewis
Fisher, Calum McCaig and Connor Trigg closely following.
In the main league, Andrew Cook maintains his position at the top of the leader
board and is due to play this month against Will Mason who is in second
position, Danielle Frankish and third placed Mike Burnett.
In the Daytime League John Fisher has a two- point lead and maintains his position
in group one. Richard Tupper and Richard Walker, both of whom are also in
group one for December are second and third on the leader board.
Charles Tupper and Hedley Muscroft are the most consistent players in the league
not in the top two groups. Margaret Allen, Steve Parker, Jacky Warren and Carol
Spinks are also in strong contention for this title.

In the Lincolnshire Mini-Tennis League, the Boston
mini-tennis green team (girls) had a good win at the weekend. Representing
Boston on this occasion were Hannah MacLeod, Elizabeth Tracy, Megan Edmonds and
Alice Tetther. The team played a team from Deeping/Bourne that they won.
