Latest summary: The 2006-2007
season of Scorecast League action is now complete. And subject to a re-check
of all sheets, the provisional honours list has been decided. Congratulations
in this context go to our new champion, Wayne Barnsley with 172 points, just
one ahead of Liam Adams who shot into the limelight on the strength of
collecting 55 end-of-season bonus points. Steve Curley came third and Chloe
Gray occupied fourth spot. The £60 extra prize for competitors ending up on
88 points will be split six ways with a tenner apiece going to Mrs M Asman,
Geoff Dodson, Kieren Pick, Albert Tebbs, Nigel Tiplady and David Wilson. In
conclusion, thanks go to everyone who took part. Well done to the
prize-winners and commiserations to those who endured a frustrating time. But
rest assured, the competition will be back for the 2007-2008 campaign with
entry sheets likely to be available from late June. Keep logging on here for
details as and when they emerge. Final positions are featured below. Don’t
forget to visit the Cricket World Cup Scorecast League competition (which has
now reached its conclusion) to see how things worked out there (see dark blue
panel immediately below).
