OCTOBER 2006

October 28 round-up

Mr Trophies Fishtoft Cup

The big tie on second round day saw Spilsby Town come out on top in their fixture against long-standing rivals Croft United. Viv Jeffrey put the home side in front with a 25-yard drive but the visitors equalised just after the interval. However, Jordan Wood restored the home team’s lead with another cracker from long distance. And victory was secured when Leon Papworth netted five minutes before the final whistle.

Skegness Town were given a scare by Division Two side Park United. The seasiders were given the perfect boost of a first minute lead through Davie Soanes. And things improved when John Bartlett added a penalty to make it 2-0 at half-time. But early second half goals from Will Carter and Steve Adcock brought the potential giant-killers level. However, Skegness again responded with further goals from Jamie Sleight, Shaun Chamberlain, Danny Leyton and another by Bartlett to give the top division side a somewhat flattering 6-2 passage into the next round.

Elsewhere, Wrangle came from a 2-1 interval deficit to secure a battling 5-3 victory over Coningsby thanks to two goals apiece from Timmy Bell and Dave Robinson plus a concluding strike by Russell Murphy.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division One

Two of the division’s leading clubs both secured victories. Leaders Westside Rangers’ scorers in their win over Spalding Town were Kevin Manning, Lee Nicholson and Michael Burt. Meanwhile, the men on target for second placed West End Tigers were Tom Clark and Andrew Bennett whose two goals apiece helped to yield a 4-2 win away to Tydd St Mary.

Another man on target twice was Chris Wood (one a penalty) for Old Doningtonians. And he helped to secured a 2-2 draw against Fishtoft.

Mark Deans scored for Holbeach Bank to earn a draw against a strong Swineshead Institute Reserves. Elsewhere, North Sea United bagged a 1-0 win against Old Leake.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Two

Leaders Freiston earned a fine 2-1 win at Graves Park when defeating a strong Kirton Town Reserves side for whom Cliff Langham scored. Aaron Cook netted twice for Spalding Harriers, helping his team to a 2-0 win against Sutterton.

Leading scorer in the division this week was Richard Grimshaw-Ealse who bagged a hat-trick for Coningsby Reserves while Gary Patrick (2) and Karl Brown added others in a 6-2 win over Fosdyke. John Hercock had a fine game in the middle with the whistle.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Three

There were plenty of goals in this division this week, but pride of place goes to Gary Bush who grabbed a goal for Mareham United Reserves. The fact that opponents Marshalls netted 16 doesn’t take away his glory feat.

Tightest game of the day was at Friskney where the home side took a 2-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes. But they were pegged back by visitors Billinghay Athletic Reserves as the interval arrived with the score at 2-2. The scoreline then ping-ponged about until the visitors were 4-3 ahead. The home side, though, won a penalty in the final minute. But the chance was missed and the visitors hung on. Gareth Williams, Neil Allen and Terry Dale scored for Friskney.

October 21 round-up

Cropley’s Suzuki Premier Division

Skegness Town Reserves came from behind twice to snatch the points in a 3-2 home win against Swineshead. The home side trailed to a speculative cross-cum-shot from Richard Stukins which found the net after 20 minutes before Town went close to bringing the scores level when Jamie Sleight’s corner curled in only to strike the crossbar 20 minutes later. The home side finally got back on level term on the stroke of half-time when they were awarded a penalty and Steve Warren sent keeper Andrew Stukins the wrong way from the spot. Stukins came to his side’s rescue with a fine save from Jamie Sleight after 58 minutes before Martin North put the visitors back in front on the hour mark with a fine individual goal. Skegness again stormed back to level three minutes later when Jamie Sleight’s free-kick flew across the face of the goal for Jason Smith to tap home from close range. Both sides went searching for the winner and Richard Stukins went close for Swineshead forcing keeper Andy Gilbert into action and Andrew Stukins thwarted Josh Bartlett with 10 minutes left. Town grabbed the all-important deciding goal with 10 minutes remaining when Ben Davison converted a Jamie Sleight corner although there was still time for Swineshead to go perilously close to snatching a draw but Stukins’ effort struck the post.

Wyberton’s two goals against Coningsby were still not enough to earn any reward as they went down 4-2 at home. The Causeway side still remain at the bottom of the table and searching for their first points of the season. Wyberton appeared to be in with a shout at the half-way stage when they found themselves all square at 1-1 with Mark Wakefield netting their goal from the penalty spot. Coningsby stepped up a gear after the break, however, to take the honours. Wyberton’s second goal came from Wakefield again coincidentally, from another penalty. Coningsby’s match-winners were Matthew Newell, Steve Norton and two strikes from Stu Longbone.

Kirton Town produced one of their worst performances of the season, claimed manager Dale Atkinson after seeing his side go down 3-0 at home against Wrangle United. A despondent Mr Atkinson admitted that Town’s opponents took their chances well and deserved the three points and even the fact that he had to draft in several Reserve team players for the game didn’t help soften the blow. John Tomlin crashed home Wrangle’s opener from the edge of the box after a corner was only partially cleared. Their lead was increased seven minutes into the second half when Nick Ward marked his return from injury with a neat finish. Kirton’s heads visibly dropped after the second goal and Ward rounded the keeper for the visitors’ third goal.

Rob Daniels opened the scoring for Sleaford Town Reserves to give them a 1-0 half-time lead against Spilsby Town before the visitors hit back after the break to take the points. Jordan Wood was once again Spilsby’s match-winner hitting both of his side’s goals.

Billinghay Athletic moved menacingly into third place after a 3-0 away victory at Gedney Drove End. Sam Miller gave the visitors a 1-0 half time lead before two further goals in the second period sealed the three points. Adam Weston and Kevin Bayliss hit the crucial goals. Bayliss was drafted into the first team line-up from the reserve side as Billinghay were forced to make changes. Club captain, Mark Wheatley is now out of action until after Christmas with knee ligament damage. He sustained the injury in the previous weeks County cup-tie while striker Michael Ward is still a few weeks away from returning after his broken leg.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division One

Fishtoft inflicted another defeat on Tydd St Mary following a 4-1 home win. Fishtoft were 2-0 ahead at the break following goals from Simon Bush and Dec Wilson before Tydd gave themselves a glimmer of hope when they pulled a goal back after the break. Fishtoft sealed victory with further strikes from Mark Ryan and Glen Smith to run out comfortable winners.

Old Doningtonians’ young side produced a mature performance at North Sea United to take maximum points with an exciting 4-3 victory. This was the visitors’ first points of the season and manager Graham Slater will now be hoping this boost will kick-start his team’s fortunes. The ‘Young’ Dons side boasted six under-18s players and only the inclusion of the experienced Graham Slater lifted the average age to 24. The youngsters found themselves 3-1 in front at the break and it could have been more had Scott Hempsall not squandered a penalty. Hempsall made amends by scoring one of the goals along with Paul Barker and Reece Chapman who were also on target. Liam Pitts added another in the second half to put his side 4-1 in front before North staged a fight-back scoring twice to set the youngsters’ nerves jangling but they deservedly held on to record a fine victory. The Camp’s goals came from Jim Stone, who hit two and Rob Masters.

A relieved Spalding Town managed to record their first points of the season when they entertained Spilsby Town Reserves. Ian Tomblin gave Town a first half lead and Daniel Ellis made the game safe with a second goal after the break. Final score was 2-0.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Two

Wainfleet United substitute Michael Parnham came off the bench to grab a dramatic late winner as the visitors took the points in a 3-2 scoreline at Park Road Old Boys. The home side were forced to make several changes before the game with veterans Tim Walker and Ian Walsham included on the substitutes bench. Tim Walker hardly had time to warm up before he was called into action following an early injury and that probably played a part in the experienced defender breaking down and Walsham was called into action from the subs bench. The change paid dividends, however, as Rob Heanes opened the scoring to give his side a first half lead before Phil Simpson levelled when he headed home a Wes Sutton cross. Park Road regained the lead when Walsham turned to shoot his side ahead only for Lee Johnson to burst through from midfield and net an equalizer for United with ten minutes remaining. Walsham went close for The Old Boys before super-sub, Parnham struck with his late winning goal. Final score was 3-2.

Lee Croft hit a fine hat-trick for Coningsby Reserves in their 6-2 home win against Park United. Carl Wilson, Richard Grimshaw-Else and an own goal sealed victory.

Sutterton fought back from 1-0 down at the break to snatch victory when they entertained Mareham United. Gavin Rhodes levelled the scores in the second half from the penalty spot and Adam Thompson netted the winner following a goalmouth scramble. Final score was 2-1.

Clinical finishing resulted in Freiston beating a brave Black Bull United by 9-0. For the first 15 minutes play flowed from end to end as both sides searched for the opening goal but once David Harker finished in style there was no way back for the visitors. Strike partners, Dean Seiner and Aston Chase both found the net shortly afterwards to make the score 3-0 after twenty five minutes. The home side forced several corners as they put the opposition under intense pressure and Shane Chase was left unmarked to force the ball home for a rare goal on the half hour mark. Seiner then made it 5-0 before half-time. Black Bull, to their credit, continued to play some good football and they forced substitute goalkeeper Chris Spiller into three decent saves. Both Dean Seiner and Aston Chase scored twice more in the second period to make a combined tally of 37 for the season.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Three

Marshalls continue to storm away at the top of the table following a 4-1 home win against Freiston Reserves. Craig Spooner hit two of the goals while Daniel Warren and Michael Gardner were also on target for the league leaders. Freiston replied through Jamie Button.

Nortoft United came away from Mareham United Reserves with all three points after a comfortable 3-0 victory. Richie Barker, Wes Hunt and Jason Osborne hit the decisive goals.

Westside Rangers Reserves went down to a surprising home defeat at the hands of Park United Reserves. It was Park’s first points of the season and the victory lifts them off the foot of the table. Westside only have themselves to blame for not making more of their possession and all they had to show for their efforts were a James Pearson strike and an own goal. Final score was 3-2 to Park.

Holbeach United Social pulled out all the stops to get their game played at home to Friskney and after making two on-the-day signings look like gathering a decent squad of players to keep them going in the league. Unfortunately they came up against a very capable Friskney team who, after leading 1-0 at the break, scored twice more in the second half to secure a comfortable victory.

Billinghay Athletic Reserves went down to a narrow 3-2 home defeat against Old Doningtonians Reserves. Steve Wilcox and Matt Dring hit the home goals but it wasn’t enough to salvage any reward.

October 14 round-up

Lincoln Co-op Lincolnshire Junior Cup round one

Boston Saturday League champions, Billinghay Athletic endured one of those days when nothing went right. Despite bombarding the goal of opponents, The Fiddler, in their home tie they just couldn’t score. Goalmouth scrambles and disallowed efforts saw Billinghay become more and more frustrated and with the visitors threatening very little it looked as though the only chance they had of breaking through the home defence would be from a dead ball situation. Sure enough, a needless free-kick was conceded just outside the Billinghay area. And one of Boston’s major hopes of progressing in the competition were left shell-shocked as the ball hit the back of their net for what proved to be the winning goal in a 1-0 scoreline to the visitors.

The five-star goal-scoring performance of the day belonged to Spilsby Town striker Jordan Wood. The diminutive goal-poacher struck all four of Spilsby’s goals in their 4-1 away win at Alford Town.

Paul Watts went close to emulating Jordan Wood’s feat when The Skegness Town Reserve striker grabbed a fine hat-trick in their 4-1 away win at Sutton Bridge United. Damian Howland hit the other goal to ensure it was a happy journey on the way back to the east coast.

Croft United enjoyed an easy passage through to the next round when they entertained Mitchells at Wainfleet Road. Leroy Medina was again among the goals scoring twice while the others came from Steve Murphy, Kurt Crossley, Louis Mill and Jack Smith.

Fishtoft were involved in a high scoring cup-tie at home to Deeping Sports. Unfortunately The Boston League side gave themselves too much to do after a disastrous first half which saw them trailing 6-0 at the break. Fishtoft’s consolation was drawn from the fact that they ‘won’ the second half 4-2 as they eventually went out of the competition by the crazy scoreline of 8-4. Ady Almond and Nathan Taylor were on target while Paul Wroot grabbed a double, the second of which was a 40-yard screamer.

Fosdyke had the unenviable task of travelling to Fulbeck United. And so it proved to be as the visitors conceded 11 goals without any in reply. Fulbeck were far too strong for Division Two side who had no complaints about the outcome.

Another side to crash out of the competition was Fosdyke’s near-neighbours, Holbeach Bank, who coincidentally, also shipped the same number of goals in an 11-1 defeat at Crosby Colts.

There was a spirited display from Division One side, Tydd St Mary when they entertained Premier Division side Swineshead in an all-Boston League clash. The underdogs kept Swineshead at bay for an hour before the Premier outfit finally eased in front for the first time. Tydd rocked their opponents after just 10 minutes when a simple tap-in gave them a shock lead before Swineshead levelled after 42 minutes when Martin North bundled the ball over the line. The visitors finally went ahead for the first time when Martin North beat a defender to shoot home on 68 minutes. Tydd’s confidence slowly drained away as Richard Stukins notched a third goal five minutes later following a great run from midfield by Chris Shipley. North completed his hat-trick after 75 minutes with a close range header and Stukins made it 5-1 with eight minutes remaining. Substitute Scott Williams wrapped up the tie with a sixth goal when he knocked home a rebound after Tim Tyler’s shot had been blocked by the keeper for a final score of 6-1.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division One

Jody Betts struck twice for Westside Rangers in their home match against Swineshead Reserves. The Boston side’s 2-1 victory keeps them firmly on top of the table. Swineshead replied through Andy Thompson.

West End Tigers moved menacingly into second place after a fine 3-2 away win at Spilsby Town Reserves. It turned out to be a bad week for Spilsby Town as at the previous Wednesday’s management committee meeting they were docked three points from their 2-0 away win at North Sea United during early September after they fielded a player who was not registered.

In their match against West End it was the Spilsby who struck first when Des Rook opened the scoring. Town also struck the post twice and had three efforts cleared off the line. The Tigers equalised right on the stroke of half-time and the visitors then went in front after the break. It was Rook again who volleyed Town level but Spilsby couldn’t find a winning goal despite creating several clear chances. West End struck the killer-blow with the last kick of the game when Paul Vaughan made it 3-2.

North Sea United, on the other hand, had cause to celebrate last Saturday when they recorded their first win of the season when Spalding Town made the journey to the Camp. An own goal set North Sea on the way and Jamal James added another to make it 2-0. Jim Stone made the game safe with a third goal before Rob Masters completed the scoring. Final score was 4-0.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Two

Wainfleet United played hosts to Freiston and it was the visitors who went home with the three points following a 3-1 scoreline. On an uneven surface both sides struggled to get any rhythm going and it looked as though the first half would finish goalless. That was until Freiston striker Dean Seiner eluded his marker to fire home low into the net for the opening goal on 40 minutes. Both defences had to withstand some early second half pressure before Seiner struck again after 65 minutes when he beat the offside trap to make it 2-0. Shortly afterwards Aston Chase beat the keeper to a long pass before lobbing the ball into the back of the net. To their credit Wainfleet battled away for some reward and they deservedly pulled a goal back when Royson Wilkinson netted with five minutes remaining.

Park United are finding goals hard to come by this season and last Saturday saw another blank scoresheet when Kirton Town Reserves were the visitors to Carrington. Park held their opponents at bay during the first half but Town finally found a way through and the home side’s heads went down. Two further goals followed as Kirton ran out 3-0 winners. The visitors’ match-winners were Brian Cox, Mark Richardson and Richard Borrill.

Black Bull went down 4-2 at their Fosdyke ground where Coningsby Reserves took the honours. Ian Morris and Chris Devlin were on target for The Bull but it was to no avail as Coningsby deservedly took the points with goals from Carl Wilson (2), Lee Croft and Graham McMahon.

Spalding Harriers also suffered a home defeat when Woodhall Spa United were the visitors. Despite Marcin Minczinski and Steve Carn getting on the scoresheet for the Harriers it wasn’t enough as Woodhall went home with all three points after a 3-2 victory.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Three

Goals from Anthony Tiffen and Chris Massingham secured the three points for Nortoft United in a 2-1 victory when they made the journey to Friskney. Gareth Williams reduced the arrears for the home side with seven minutes to go.

Matthew Parnham and Jimmy Brittain both hit two goals apiece in Wrangle United Reserves’ 4-2 home win against Mareham United Reserves.

The half-time score of 5-0 did not reflect the performance of Old Doningtonians Reserves when they entertained league leaders, Marshalls. The Boston side were made to work for their goals as Old Dons proved difficult opponents. Three more goals followed after the break as Marshalls ran out 8-1 winners. The visitors’ goals came from Wayne Beeson (2), Michael Gardner (2), Daniel White, Daniel Warren and Craig Spooner.

October 7 round-up

James Eley Sports Cup round two

The Boston Saturday League’s major competition took centre stage as the minnows pitted their wits against some of the big boys. But alas, there were no cup upsets this time around.

The Premier champions, Billinghay Athletic were without a game after Holbeach United Social were vying for players with Holbeach United Reserves and unfortunately, last weekend saw them unable to raise two sides between them and the Boston League side were forced to call off their cup-tie. The matter will be discussed at the management committee meeting on October 11 when it is expected that Billinghay will be awarded a ‘walk-over’.

Ben Robinson made his first outing of the season for Coningsby last Saturday and the striker soon made up for lost time as visitors, Old Leake found out to their cost. The rampant Robinson hit four of his side’s goals in a 7-3 victory while Steve Norton grabbed two. The other Coningsby goal came from James Wayman.

It was a case of the ‘Warren and Whittam’ show at Skegness where their Reserves entertained Swineshead. As early as the fourth minute Steve Warren set up Josh Whittam for a simple tap-in and 10 minutes later Warren added a second. Warren then outjumped the keeper following a Jamie Sleight free-kick and his header glanced into the net. Swineshead, 3-0 down after 15 minutes, were not playing well and it looked all over for the visitors. Swineshead did improve somewhat after the break following a half-time roasting from manager Steve Slater and they did create a few chances but were denied by the goalkeeper and woodwork before Skegness added a fourth with 12 minutes remaining when Josh Whittam pounced upon a goalkeeping error for an easy tap-in. Swineshead grabbed a consolation goal five minutes from time when centre back Kyle Stainton was pushed forward and his cross was converted by Chris Shipley from five yards out. Final score was 4-1.

Another all-Premier Division clash at Spilsby Town saw Wyberton suffer another heavy defeat. Jordan Wood was firing on all cylinders, knocking home a fine hat-trick while Viv Jeffery and Liam Papworth also got on the scoresheet in a 5-2 victory. Lathon Millar and Lee Dakin hit the Wyberton goals.

Fishtoft went out in their home against Spalding Harriers by the odd goal in five. The scores were all square at 2-2 at the halfway stage, although Fishtoft will count themselves unlucky not to have been ahead. But the goal frame came to the Harriers’ rescue on four occasions. The home side lost their way after the break and the Spalding side snatched victory with the crucial winning goal. Fishtoft also lost their heads a little in the second half as Gareth Follows and Nick Sylvester both received their marching orders. Final score was 3-2.

Simon Webster was Kirton Town’s hero in more ways than one when his side travelled to Old Doningtonians. The diminutive little striker insisted on playing despite suffering from a cracked cheekbone and the injury clearly did not hold him back as he struck a great hat-trick in a 3-1 victory. The treble-hit hero was due to see a consultant on Monday to assess the damage. Old Doningtonians, who showed some improvement from recent displays replied through Liam Pitts.

Park United and Woodhall Spa United produced an exciting encounter at Carrington before the visitors sneaked through to the next round after a penalty shoot-out. Andrew Carter struck twice for Park while Will Carter was also on target after the scores stood deadlocked at 3-3 after normal time and extra time but it wasn’t enough at the end of the day and Woodhall proved more accurate from 12 yards.

Friskney went down 4-1 at home to Nortoft although it could have been a different story after Perrie Dale had cancelled out Nortoft’s opener – Friskney thought they had scored a perfectly good goal, but the linesman ruled the effort out. That proved to be a crucial turning point in the game and Nortoft didn’t look back securing their place in the next round with goals from Jason Osborne, Anthony Tiffen, Rich Barker and Danny Clayton.

It was a case of unlucky 13 for visitors Fosdyke when they made the journey to Gedney Drove End. No less than 13 goals found the Fosdyke net, although the plucky visitors could only raise 10 players for the match. There was one consolation for Fosdyke and that came from an impressive display from youngster Liam Wilson. For the record, Gedney’s haul came from Dave Wilson (4), Neil Armstrong (3), Danny Goddard (3), Shane Quinn, David Dalrymple and Garth Baxter.

There was, at last, some joy for Sutterton when they made the tricky journey to Mareham United. Despite some indifferent league form, Sutterton showed great fighting spirit to progress through to the next round following a fine extra time victory. Mareham started the better and they went ahead after ten minutes and although Sutterton rallied the single-goal margin stood at the interval. Some tactical changes gave Sutterton a second half boost and their flowing football soon caused some problems for their opponents. Just when it seemed Mareham might hold onto their lead, Sutterton skipper, Ady Barnett struck a left-footed volley from 25 yards which flew into the top corner to take the tie into extra time. The visitors didn’t have to wait much longer to edge ahead as with only four minutes into the first period, Gavin Rhodes scored a fine individual goal when he out-paced four defenders before driving the ball past the advancing keeper. Mareham responded by throwing men forward but they found Sutterton’s rearguard in a mean mood where Erhardt and Daubney were immense. Sutterton hung onto their slender lead until the dying seconds when they added a third to seal victory when Erhardt released Scott Jackson who fired home from 35 yards. The visitors were grateful for their stand-in keeper, Graham Nichols who performed heroics throughout to keep his side in the tie. Final score was 3-1.

Westside Rangers and West End Tigers met at Middlecott School last Saturday, with both sides boasting 100 percent starts to the season and after the game it was still Westside whose unblemished record remained in tact after a narrow 2-1 victory. Rangers started brightly and Neil Sinha missed a golden opportunity to put his side ahead – a missed chance that soon proved costly. The Tigers punished Westside by taking the lead when Ben Parkinson was hand to sidefoot home after Westside failed to clear a corner. West End went close to increasing their lead but found Rangers keeper, Martyn Lakin in fine form. Rangers finally leapt into action after those early scares and their midfield gradually took control. The equaliser came courtesy of a flick-on from Will Scott which DJ Wright fastened onto before chipping the ball superbly over the diving keeper. Rangers took the lead through Jody Betts’ volley after excellent approach play from Wheatley and Wright.  The second half was played at a frantic pace with both sides creating chances and Rangers were especially guilty of not finishing the tie off after squandering some gilt-edged openings. Referee Sid Ault had a fine game in the middle. Final score was 2-1.

A young Park Road Old Boys team were beaten by a more experienced Freiston outfit at the Danny Flear Centre in a 6-1 scoreline. A Dean Seiner header put the home side ahead following a corner and the lively striker then turned provider for Aston Chase to make it 2-0 after 10 minutes. Park Road tried to get back into the game but with a strong headwind and a resolute opposing defence chances were at a premium. Aston Chase made it 3-0 on the half hour mark and Max Slater’s 50-yard lob dropped under the crossbar for goal number four. Chase then completed his hat-tick from the penalty spot to give Freiston a comfortable 5-0 interval lead. To their credit The Old Boys took the game to their opponents after the break and were rewarded with a goal after 55 minutes and they continued to test the Freiston defence after several promising raids. Freiston wrapped up the tie with a sixth goal when Aston Chase chalked up his fourth goal of the game.

Holbeach Bank, from Division One, travelled to play Wrangle United and the underdogs gave their Premier Division opponents a real scare before going down 5-4 after extra time. An own goal and a Tim Bell strike had given Wrangle a 2-1 half-time lead but the Bank struck back early in the second period to equalise. The visitors then rocked United with a third goal to take the lead from the penalty spot. Dave Robinson brought Wrangle level with a bullet-like header before Holbeach Bank again regained the lead. It was left to Robinson to save the day with another leveller six minutes from the end to take the tie into extra time. Wrangle had a great opportunity to go in front in the first period of extra time but Player-Manager, Nigel Birtwistle fluffed his big chance from eight yards out.  Bowie Houston showed his Manager how it should be done with the winning goal in the second period of extra time to put Wrangle through into the next round.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Two

There was only one game in Division Two and that took place at Graves Park where Kirton Town Reserves went down 3-2 at the hands of Coningsby Reserves. The visitors’ match-winners were Carl Wilson, Danny Cottingham and Richard Grimshaw-Else. Town’s goals came from Mark Richardson and Simon Collins.

Cropley’s Suzuki Division Three

In the only Division Three game, Billinghay Athletic Reserves defeated Freiston Reserves 4-1 thanks to goals from Adam Weston, Rick Harrod, and Jason Davies. The other came courtesy of an own goal. Troy Ayton replied for Freiston.
