Lincolnshire Individual WORLD CUP CRICKET SCORECAST LEAGUE 2007 March 13 to April 28 The Lincolnshire Individual Cricket World Cup Scorecast League is a mini-cricket version of this website’s popular football predictions competition and run as a fund-raising venture for Boston Cricket Club and Boston Swimming Club. Entrants listed below have completed forms before the start of the tournament and points are accumulated on the basis of FIVE for a correct match result prediction plus TWO awarded for each of the total match runs and total match wickets to fall sub-sections. Additional bonus points will be added during the competition (details featured below). End of competition prize money: First place: £50 Second place: £30 Third place: £10 Profits will be shared between Boston Swimming Club and Boston Cricket Club

Latest summary: The inaugural World Cup Cricket Scorecast League has now reached its conclusion. And congratulations go to Mick Warrington on taking the overall crown and £50 in prize money. Three entrants, whose rewards are £13.33 each, shared runners-up honours (all monies will be dispatched to the prize recipients within the next few days). Down at the basement end of affairs, Bryeny Loveridge finished at the bottom of the pile, just one point adrift of sports betting guru Shane White who clearly won’t find it easy to play down this particular poor showing — remarks that probably also apply to fellow “sieveheads” Gary Rose and Ruth Singleton in the two places immediately above!
